How to Model STAAD sliding support

I have a long, narrow structure with 10 frames each with three supports. To allow for growth of the structure due to temperature loads, I want to model 3 supports on one end as 'pinned' and the other 27 supports released to provide vertical and transverse resistance as well as longitudinal resistance only as a friction load. Here is a 'sketch' of the structure's layout:

I want the base of the columns at CL10 to be 'fixed' for Fx, Fy, and Fz; whereas, I want the base of the columns at CL1 through CL9 to be 'fixed' only for Fx and Fy, but offer Fz resistance based on 50% of the downward force of the column (friction).

Does anyone know any tips on how to model this?
