How to open .odb job file? 1

Hi, i used another pc to run job files and i do have odb file now.
how can i open .odb file to see results or associate .odb with my job(model and steps)?

If double-click doesn’t work (when odb extension is not associated with Abaqus), use command line to open this file:

abaqus viewer odb=output_database_name

Thanks, so i tried to open file and this error pops up:

i need abaqus upgrade now?

Yes, output database file can’t be opened in versions of Abaqus older than the one in which the database was created.
