How to paste one project into another

Hi! I'd like to "copy and paste" one .mpp file into another, and can't seem to do it. I do not want to embed or keep any link to the original file, but to just copy one file and put it in the other. I'm new at this, so I'm sure there is an easy way....

What happens when you select the project and copy and paste?

That doesn't work - it loses all the links between the tasks, and also all the lengths...
 
How are you doing the copy?

You should select entire rows of the tasks

I just tried it with no problems; it copied links, resources, durations, start and stop times, work, etc.
