I made a model for a stator blade and performed modal analysis using Ansys but the total deformation instead of being a few mm is hundreds of mm.
I have used auto-mesh and titanium as material. I saw a person's tutorial for modal analysis of a wing model using automesh which worked fine for him..

what load did you apply ?

are the units correct ??

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

If it is a true modal analysis then the modal scaling is effectively arbitrary, there are at least 4 schema that can be used, and none are more correct than any of the others.

@GregLocock is correct. Assuming all your input units are consistent, I'd guess the option to scale the modes based on mass (rather than displacement) was selected. Your generalized masses should all be unity in that case.
