i don't know how...

would someone please help??

thanks a lot

I think you mean modal analysis. That is most easily available in ADAMS/Vibration. I doubt you can do stress and strain analysis because the flexible part is represented by an MNF file. I could be wrong, I have done neither. The usual process which is what I used to do is to write the forces out from ADAMS, as time histories, and then apply them to the FEA model in a proper FEA program.

hi GregLocock

Thanks for responding

Actually i meant nodal analysis. Because i need to calculate one specific node's displacement, acceleration and ...

i also need to know how can i find specific nodes in Adams/Car itself (if possible) without using other FEA or CAE softwares...

thanks a lot

Oh, OK. For displacement you'll need something like

REQ/81102103,DIS,I=1102103, J=1183103, RM=1183103
,C=LF Displacement of P3 LCA Bushing from Subframe wrt Bush Coord

and for acceleration

REQ/47400, I=47400,J=3,RM=3, ACC,
,C = Engine Cg Acceleration

Look up REQUEST in the basic package -> Solver help.

Hi Greg Locock

Thanks a lot

How can i find the solver help in Adams?

Help->ADAMS Help takes you to browser (don't use chrome, I use IE) allow blocked content,->adams basic package-> adams solver
