I ran a modal analysis of a structure that has different MPCs and i want to see how they move but I can't figure out how to show them in the post-processing window. Thoughts?

thanks!

You should be able to show MPCs when you use "Create Display Group" option. There in the items list you can find MPCs. What's more in "View --> ODB Display Options --> Entity Display" you can find MPCs as well. But the second option works only in Explicit.

I tried to create a display group with MPCs only but nothing appears in the viewport. I know they are there because the max displacement points in an empty space where they are supposed to be

Then I'm afraid that it's not possible to visualize MPCs in results from Abaqus/Standard. You would have to replace them with other constraints that can be shown in Viewer.

I thought so. Not not what is comparable. Maybe kinematic coupling?

It depends which type of MPC you use and for what purpose. But usually yes, kinematic coupling is the closest one.
