Dear fellow engineers,

I am using ANSYS Mechanical APDL 2023 R1 for a static analysis. I can setup the simulation However, I wonder how can I print the axial inertia moment Ixx (area moment of inertia), in relation to the center of mass on the screen, or export it to a text file, upon the solution.

Thank you,
Best regards,
Andrade Silva

Hi,
If you have areas defined in your model, then can use ASUM command to get the Ixx information and use /OUTPUT command before ASUM to redirect output to text file. Don't forget to issue /OPTPUT again without any argument to redirect the output to screen/standard output when you no longer want to redirect output to file.
