i used a ppd antiozonant in sbr gaskets, but when the gasket it is installed on pvc pipe, this stain the surface. now i try to remove or blck the migration of the ppd to the gasket surface, any sugestion or method for this?

the best way that I find is put the gaskets in a oven at 150°C for 20 minutes and aply a talc.

You will not stop the PPD from migrating to the surface until it has all been used up. One solution to your problem is to replace the PPD with a non-staining phenol-aldehyde condensation product, or a hindered phenol such as BHT. Bear in mind these are not as effective as the PPD family.

Thanks GrahamBennett, and yes now we replace the PPD for a non-staining antiozonant.

The problem it is how to clean the gaskets that we made whith the PPD, I try alcohol, soap, hot water, oven, acid and alcali solutions and any posible combination. The gaskets are clean but in a few days (5 more o less) the antiozonant migrate to the surface again.

Thanks again GrahamBenett and I'm open to any idea.

As I said in my original post, you will not stop the PPD from migrating. Therefore you are stuck with the old stock of gaskets because you will never keep them clean for long.

If you put gaskets that made whith the PPD in cold contition for 24 hour / -10 C for example/ then migration will accelerate becouse solubiliti of the PPD in compound will be decreased . After this period extract gaskets , wait for conditioning 6-hour, then clean them using wtaer based silicon release agent.
i hope it will help because by this way quantity of the migrating/exessive /PPD will be reduced
