Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to reset displacement to zero after a geostatic step (or any load step) in Abaqus?

Thanks in advance

I actually need to reset my displacements to zero before continuing to the next step, while keeping my generated stresses.

In geotechnical soil analysis, after the initial stresses are calculated using gravity loading, the displacements should be reset to zero at the start of the next calculation step. This will remove the effect of initial stress generation procedure on the displacements developed during subsequent calculation steps, while the stresses remain.
