On the Tools, Options panel, there is an icon to reset your settings. It will let you reset the current page, the current function, or all functions.

Another method is to simply delete the directory that contains your local settings (when you are out of CATIA, that is).

But even restoring the old settings did not solve my problem of missing values in the color map, it seems those integer values are covered by red color, so that I cant see them, I will be highly garteful for any help.

Delete the users catsetting directory. pointed to by the CATUserSettingPath variable

i had a color problem with displacment result.
in order to avoid this change the visualization option for the vector variable = OFF

No, But I have this problem with viewing all results, it seems that the integers are replaced by some red colored strips

If the labels disapear (replaced by the background colour or by the highlight colour) then it is most likley to be some sort of graphics driver issue. Do you have trouble with the spec tree & the tree in tools options?

do you have certified hardware ?

No I have no other trouble with spec tree and tree in tools option. And yes, I have certified hardware, and my color pallet was working fine initially, but i accidentally changed something.

Try to delete your Catsettings folder or rename it.
The default path is usually C:\Documents and Settings\Your user name\Application Data\Dassault Systems\Catsettings.

If you do not see application data folder that means the folder is set to be hidden. At the top of the screen go to tools/folder options/view then select show hidden files and folders.

Once you find the catsettings folder rename it to catsettings.old or something.. Reboot CATIA and see if that fixed it.
