Dear All,

I have put a local coordinate system (Datum csys) at the reference point of a rigid roll and then tried to rotate the local coordinate with the rotation of roll. But it seems that the local coordinate does not change its direction with the rotation of the roll and it always keeps its original direction!
I have attached a file as an example. I want to have rotation about Z-axis but the roll is always rotating with a constant speed about its local X-axis which changes its direction with rotation of the roll about Z-axis. In the attached file you can see the boundary conditions for the top roll is in global coordinate but the bottom roll has boundary conditions in local coordinate. When I run the simulation it seems both of the rolls are rotating the same and Abaqus does not rotate the X-axis of the local coordinal which is important for me!

To make the story short: I want to have the roll rotate with a constant speed about its local x-axis that changes its direction because of rotation of the roll about z-axis! I appreciate if someone pleas help me fix this issue.

C,
A
