Dear colleagues,
I have following questions (Any reply is wellcomed!!!)
1. I am using transient solver NX thermal flow which solves temperature as function of time. After finishing I will have solutions at different times. As you know NX displays solutions at different time as 3D picture.
I need to write in the file temperatures at selected different points for all times. Do you know how to do this?
For example: I am solving temperature in the box 32cm x32cm x32cm and I will program NX to give me solutions at 0, 10, 1000. 2000, 3000, 4000,5000, .....20000.
I would like to instruct NX to save in the file temperatures at this times for points with coordinates:
P1 (2.5,2.5,2.5); P2(2.5,16,16),P3 (4,16,16), P4(5,2.5,2.5); P5(8,16,16),P6 (16,16,16), P7(24,2.5,2.5); P8(24,16,16), P10(28,16,16).
I need a file in which first column with be time, second temperature at P1, third temperature at P2... and so on.
How this could be done?
Generally speaking for comparison with experiment I may need to trace the temperature at more points and I guess for me will be very difficult to look at every colour solution and to try to extract the temperature.
2. Is TEMPF file in the current directory where the solutions are saved? If this is the case where coordinates of different solutions are written?
3. How to import initial conditions at transient solver?
It says from TEMPF file? How to generate such file?
How to save results from previous solutions to TEMPF file?
4. If I have solution from another program - e.g. Comsol how to generate TEMPF file.

5. Is there any way to use in NX script file - i.e. to write a program in programming language which will follow.
