I am simulating a heat transfer analysis of a pipe with Abaqus/Standard.

The following error occurs: "Too many attempts made for this increment." (Incrementation: see Attachments)
And the following warning occurs: "No valid radiation output requests have been generated. This may be because no valid cavities exist in the model." (definition of surface radiation: see Attachments)
What could be the reason?

Many thanks!

If changes in the Incrementation tab (including max allowable temp/emissivity change per increment) don’t help then you can try with different solver (Other tab). Otherwise take a closer look at all thermal loads abd interactions (especially make sure that values and units are correct).
