how to solve mapped meshing error ?

The erroe message given by the APDL is , Area 1 is irregular, cannot be map meshed with quadrilaterals'.

Recommended for you

Mapped mesh can only be used for regular area that meets certain conditions. The key one is that it has to bounded by 3 or 4 lines but there are ways to bypass this limitation. If the surface is too complex you can try using face partitions.
 
Hi,
I assume you are using Main Menu>Preprocessor>Meshing>Mesh>Areas>Mapped>3 or 4 sided.

Your geometrical area A1 seems quadrilateral. I'd recommend using Main Menu>Preprocessor>Meshing>Mesh>Areas>Mapped>By Corners and select the area and its corners .

Alternatively, you can use AMAP, AREA, KP1, KP2, KP3, KP4 command
