How do you turn off center lines when creating a new drawing?
Can this be a system setting in NX5 so that no matter what file the drawing is being created in, center lines wont be generated.

Thank,
James

Thanks Jay for the reply.
I don't understand this but I don't have the "Centerline" check box you circled for me in your jpg. I'm using NX5, are you?

Oh, I was RMB the view in the tree & choosing style.

Thanks,
James

The setting in Customer Defaults is 'Part' Specific, meaning that changing the Customer Default setting will ONLY effect newly created part files. Of course, if you're using Drawing Template files, changing this setting in Customer Defaults will have NO effect on them whatsoever. You will need to open those Drawing template files in NX, go into...

Drafting -> Preferences -> View -> General

...and toggle OFF the 'Centerlines' option and then re-save your files.

Hi John, thanks fr the input.
Is there any way to make this a system setting in NX that will over ride any part settings?
