I was under the impression that the abbility to use more than 2 cores was restricted on some licenses.
I got the below message today I wondered if infact we do have the required licence so tried to enable 4 cores. Now I just get a generic error. Is this the expected result if it's a licensing issue or do I just need to configure something correctly?

I have tried creating another project but still get the same result.

Hi!

AFAIK it depends if you're under the old (NLS,Structural etc.) or the new (Premium etc.) licensing scheme. Looks like you are under the old licensing scheme. What did the solver output tell you? Messages in WB are generally of less value, use the .err files in the solver directory to find out what really happens.

I guess that first msg box was a bit misleading, according to the solver outut:

" *** FATAL *** CP = 0.047 TIME= 07:59:51
Parallel capability is restricted to 2 for this product. "
