Hi All,

NX4.0.4 on windows 64 bit..

I want to initiate browser of my choice to display the help contents from NX.. How do I do that?

I tried to set the env variable UGII_HTML_BROWSER=path where the browser executable is located... Not worked...

tried making that browser as default browser, still not working...

Is it Hard coded in NX4 to always open the help doc from inside NX in Internet explorer?

Please advise..

Thanks

It should use the default browser for your system.

Hudson,
Like I mentioned.. I have tested that .. it has not worked..

Is there anything else I can do..

Thanks

Officially we ONLY support the so-called 'native' browser for the OS which you are running under. That means IE on Windows, Firefox on Linux and Safari on MAC OS. Anything else will have problems with things like using search or some of the other options that we've added using JAVA and such.
