Devastating news about the latest crude oil tanker sinking.

The PRESTIGE broke up and sank.

If you were consulted on clean up what would you recommend?

I can't believe there was nothing yet in the Ocean Engineering or Environmental Engineering forums.

Do Petroleum Engineers work on clean ups such as this?
How do you start, what do you do?
How do you prevent this from happening yet again?
Am I in the wrong forum?

Please advise.

I gather from your lack of response that this is not something that you guys do for a living.

What do you do?

I need to find an "Extreme Pressure" grease to switch to for the products we manufacture.

The grease is for our Tapered Roller Bearings, bore sizes range from .75" to around 5". Load ratings are typical for bearings of this size.

Can someone recommend an inexpensive, yet effective EP grease (brand name and supplier) that is easily obtained in the States?

Thanks for any help.

Never mind about the grease I found some - thanks for all of your help and input.
