HP plotter - avoid out of memory

We purchased an HP 500 plotter a few years ago. The plotter was set up by the vendor and configured using a driver that allowed me to plot large drawings by using the "avoid out of memory" option in page set-up.
6 months ago my computer was replaced, the plotter was installed with the HP 500 driver and now "avoid out of memory" is no longer an option.
Can anyone tell me what driver I should be using?

I'm not sure about the "avoid out of memory" option but what I do is go to the printer properties, advanced tab, and set the plotter to use the computer's memory. Once I use this setting, I don't get data overrun errors and garbage plotting out. Hope this helps.

That's how we do it too. We have a HP 430 and a 450c and neither of them seem to have the capacity to handle more than one or two plots at a time otherwise.
