Does anyone have experience of diverter valve failures when you have a frame 9 turbine combined with an HRSG? I have heard many stories but need confirmation of the cause of failure.
We have a frame 9F GT followed by HRSG. During commissioning it was found that there was a lot of vibration of the HRSG tubes (vertically hung). There was a lot of damage caused to the tube restraints and these had to be repaired and replaced with a much heavier support.
What do you mean by diverter valve? Is this for a bypass stack?
