HSS Baseplate connection resistances based on Eurocode 1

Hi!

Eurocodes are new to me. Though I see provisions for calculating resistances for I/H base plate connections in Eurocode, provision for base plate connection for hollow sections couldn't be seen. Can anyone throw some light on this? Could see only I/H connection in Tekla Tedds as well. Want to develop some standard calculations in Excel to cover standard miscellaneous items. Would appreciate some help here. Thanks in advance!

Your approach to develop spread sheet calculations in Excel to cover standard sections I/H/HSS is excellent. The same rules for base plate design are applied for HSS sections.

Pls find the attached doc.

Use it up, wear it out;
