Hi, anyone could help to understand the meanning of this part of the output summary given by HTRI software, when it says (Shell geometry) Series 1 and Parallel 2, i think this is i need 1 row of 2 equipment in parallel. How if Series 2 and Parallel 5?

1 series 2 parallel means you need 2 shells next to each other with 1/2 the flow going into each.

2 series 5 parallel basically means 5 next to each other with one exchanger stacked on top of each (10 total). you'd have 20% of the flow going through each and then going through the exchanger on top.
