Hurricane Shutter-to-building Connection Anchor

Hello All,
Thank you for taking the time to look through my question.

I am certifying anchor sizing and length for hurricane shutters attaching to a home. I have what the building code requires, but I need to compare that to what is existing. How do I calculate the pullout strength of a threaded lag bolt or any screw fastener for that matter?
