We are installing 66 kV single core power cables 400 mm2 copper approximate route lenght of one kM. Cables will be installed on cable tray on part of the route and direct buried for the remainder. System fault levels single and three phase are around 15 kA.
The question is what type of bonding and earthing is required to limit the induced voltages on the cable metallic sheaths?
We have read that at around one kM single point bonding and earthing ie at one end only is sufficient but our routle lenght maybe marginally longer.
