HV Switchboard Testing - how often

I've got a Whipp and Bourne 11kV switchboard full of VCBs. The Switchboard is about 25 years old, lives in a warm drive clean switchroom and has a very easy life as regards switching duties.

Every 4 years the VCBs are racked out, maintained and proved to OEM spec. (time trials, hi pot, ductor etc)
Likewise the protection relays are tested and proved regularly.
Annually the switchboard is subject to PD testing and infra-red camera.

Like most places getting the board fully electrically isolated is a bit of a non starter although I can get to it (very reluctantly and with a fight) in halves.

The homework question is how often should I have the back off this switchboard to give it a full inspection, full clean of the spouts etc. I'm thinking there must be a standard somewhere. Planning is pushing for an 8 year event to align with shutdowns but this seems like a long time.

thanks
