Hello Everyone:

I am designing a winch that would have a pull force of 20,000 lb. I determined that the torque required for it to move is 80,000 lb.in (I multiplied the force by the radius of the drum basically). I have selected a planetary drive that would give me a reduction of approximately 31:1 and now I am trying to select a hydraulic motor that would give me the required torque. I determined that I need torque of approximately 2500 lb.in but I fail to be able to select a suitable motor. would someone please help me?

Thanks
