In our Offshore Platform we are using hydraulic system to open close the valve.
The hydraulic pump motor is operated with 24 VDC and discharge pressure is 7000 PSI, total six pump and it is inside the cabin.
You can see the hydraulic panel photo attached with this.
The pump has only motor overload protection and Thermal overload protection.
My question is does this Hydraulic panel inside required any Fire Fighting system or not like Inergen, CO2.
For what reason the hydraulic pump get burn. In our platform the pump will not continuously run if it reaches 7000 PSI then it will be standby.
