I am designing a hydraulic system. The main pump supplies light hydraulic fluid (24 LPM of Mobil Velocite 4) to hydrostatic bearings 10 meters from the main pump/reservoir.
I need to have a tank at the bearings to receive the oil as it drains, and in the event of a power failure, contain oil from the accumulator.
My problem is transfering the fluid back to the main tank.
I would like to mount a pump at the main tank and let it run continuously. This will 1)avoiding any controls on the reciever tank and 2) keep the reciever tank empty in the event of power faiure. This pump would need to draw the oil up as much as a meter, and run in a partial stream of oil for the most part. Is there a particular pump design/manufacturer suitable for this application?
Thanks....
