You can find a steady state, pressure loss with flowrate in a water network (EPAnet), but that's about it. Anything else, get out the debit card. you must get smarter than the software you're using. IMHO, the venerable and versatile AFT FATHOM has been used with great success for thousands of hydraulic simulation for many, many years. http://www.aft.com/products/fathom If you want to do some kind of transient analysis ( waterhammer, shock analysis) its going to cost you a lot more..
