Hi

Iam currently involved in a small project for unloading HBR in polykegs or 1000l IBCs into a storage vessel for subsequent use. I have heard that the vessel requires inert gas blanketing to prevent GRP or lining corrosion because of oxidation to free Bromine. Also any vent may require an acid scrubber.

Can anyone provide me with any practical experience/comment.

regards.
