I think ammonia is not a bad idea, and there will be edge cases where hydrogen and methane make sense. I know a couple of people working on green hydrogen, which given the smallish number of real life engineers I know is quite a lot, but so far as I know the long existing problems with the electrolysis side still exist. Blue hydrogen is just another rent seeking scam.
