Hi all
What is a suggested contact time (retention time)for a hydrogen peroxide oxidation process using UV for sterilisation?
the application is at a mortuary effluent system to reduce the BOD and COD

You're asking a question which indicates you haven't the 1st clue how to design what you've been asked to design. Reducing BOD and COD by using UV light and hydrogen peroxide is extraordinarily expensive and far more complex than merely establishing a "contact time". You need to contact a vendor who designs UV oxidation systems (and alternatives better suited to what you're doing too, likely) and get a quote for a system.

This is an expensive process that is used for BOD removal, not disinfection.
