What IS your design Code?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿

our design code used are from EN and pipe standart is API 5L X60M.
But as Testing procedures we required to be acording ASME...

Testing EN with ASME?
I dont want to be anywhere near you(r plant).

lol

API 5L X60M is an USA standart of material so to be tested with ASME and from EN we took the loads to calculate knowing that EN and ASME have their equivalent grades of steel.

but my answer was which tests are mandatory for each pipe length acording ASME.

Anyway thank you.

I think you should provide more data so people can be of better help.
Anyway, mixing up codes, which is what I understand from your post, is not a good thing.

a) What is your design code?
That code will dictate the testing requirements. In general, leak testing (i.e. hydrotest) is mandatory. Charpy testing only when your design code tells you to. Charpy can be done on weld material, base material or both. And it can also be a welding procedure requirement.
b) Does CE marking apply? I.e. PED 97/23/EC

Answer both a and b and we may be of help.

The AMSE Code requirements for materials vary with each Code and design condition. What is the ASME design code and what are your design conditions?
