Good Morning,
I need to do hydraulic test pressure (Stress results) on heat exchanger in corroded condition.
In my case MAWP = Pdesign, but I can't activate in Compress the option to do the calculation in field corroded condition.
(I have 3 mm of corrosion allowance for each component of the equipment)
Does someone know how to do this verification with Compress?

Thank you

Which design code?

Ad2000 en13480 ibr asme 1 2 3? B31.3 which pressure

what diameter of the pipe you have @ 20 bar test pressure and what material ?

Why not verify the hydraulic condition per ASME VIII Div 1 UG-27?

Can do an analytical UG-27 Stress Report in Mathcad and verify that test condition is OK.

Also Excel is OK with 2D Formula Editor for Official Report to see the used calculation formulas within cell equation

All calculations in ASME are in the corroded conditions. Hence nothing you need to do different than original design. See UG-99.

Regards

All calculations beside verification of displacement Stresses within flexibility calculation ;-)
