Hello

Please i would lika to simulate the mechanical behavior of a polyrethane material (stretsh can attain 120 of the initial lenght) so i used in the load a displacement U2 =120 and i used the hyperelastic material i have used tensile test data. But after i run the job i have not the same curve of tensile test strain is only equal to 2 can anyone help me?? thanks a lot

Hi afefdridi
Can you Take a some Pictures from you model ?
You didn't say anything about your modules (Give some info's).
With Best Regards.

Hi afefdridi
What do you do with that RP ?
In addition, What is your Element Library?
With Best Regards.
yassou.

No,RP Stands for Reference Point.
In addition, What is your Element Library (Use S4R Tool in mesh module).
With Best Regards.

Hello
@yassou the RP is to do a coupling constraint in fact i see it in a tutorial in youtube. the load is applied in the reference point. the strain is 1200% it is an elastomer. The element library is c3d8

S4R is a shell element but i have a 3 dimensional instance also i use abaqus standard

Hi afefdridi
Take Below steps:
1) Try Load without coupling constraint (select 4 surface and add displacement/rotation to that surfaces). if you insist to use the Reference Point (RP) Use Rigid Body (in interaction module) with Pin or Tie option (I think for you problem, Tie is better).
2) In Element Library for Hourglass Control use Enhanced, It's for hyper-elastic,hyper-foam and low density foam.
3) Check your Units, Because This much difference in strain between reality and simulation is not rational (up to %20 or %25 difference is OK).
By the way, can you write your Warning and Status Files?
With Best Regards.
yassou.
