I am looking for the procedure for hardfacing the drum safety valve seat (operating temp ~ 400 C) but i don't know what number of stellite for this safety valve if material of seat bushing is SA 182 F347

I would appreciate any suggestions for this answer.

Thank you for your suggestion .My safety valve is consolidated type 1700-S2 if you have any more information please recommend me again

Since the loading on the Valve seat in a Safety Valve is of Impact nature and Stellite is poor in withstanding Impact loads, generally Stelliting of Seats of a Safety Valve is not recommended.
