I am looking to create cable runs in Creo Parametric

I am looking to create cable runs through a chassis that will have to cover multiple variants.
So the lengths and positions of the cables will change.
Is there a way to fix the start and end of a cable that will then allow for flexibility to change the length of cable to fit around the chassis?
I am using Creo Parametric and do not have the 'Cable' add on module.
I can create the cable run using a sweep along a curve through points.
This does make things long winded for changing point positions to move the curve.
Any ideas?

We sometimes use the Insert Pipe in proe. All you need to create is some points that it will pass from. They can also vertices.
