I am simulating Aluminium plates subjected to pressure loading. If I remove bolts, I get the results but when I add bolts as highlighted in the pic, It shows an error that too many attempts were made for this increment.

I tried General static and dynamic implicit, error is the same but when dynamic explicit it keeps on running without any results.

How can I fix it ?
What interaction properties should I consider. At the moment, I am using "General contact"

How are the bolts modeled ? Can you attach pictures showing them in close-up ? General contact is a good choice but for static analysis you have to make sure that contact is initially established between all the parts so that there are no rigid body motions.

Bolts are molded as rigid body , as I am not investigating the behaviour of bolts but the panel

Instead of solid models of the bolts you could use 1D elements (beam/connector) and attach them to the rest of the model with constraints. This will also help you avoid problems with rigid body motions.
