I got Error: Cannot match material indices? what is this?

My model is 3-D Beam.
I have tried multiple layers & groups.
I have edited beam properties.
I now have 1 layer and 6 groups with different properties.
I am constantly getting the error: cannot match material indices

What is this error? How do I fix it?

I also got this error once, after talking to the guys at algor they sugested to tranfer the model to superview, then draw a line in space, save it and this would reset the database. You can then delete the line and transfer it back to superview. I am not sure what causes the problem but It seem to work when I tried it.
