I work for a "job shop" where we fabricate steel for different types of jobs, including things from basic handrails to additions to buildings. Is there a written law that all drawings "have" to have work point dimensions?? The drawings I make for the shop are accomidating for our workers. The reason I ask is that I have had 3 sets of prints from two different jobs rejected because I didnt use WP dim. Our fabricators dont use WP dim., they want me to use pitch and rise to put clips on beams that are on a pitch. My dimensions were correct, I just didnt have the WP dim.
