I have an LC3015F1NT C02 laser. I can't get it to cut 3/4" plate. It used to just fine. Plenty of new parts put on to try and correct. No luck. Tried changing conditions a million times, makes no difference. When I try to pierce the plate it just blows up into a volcano. Gas pressure spikes to .157 Mpa. Have no idea where this command is coming from.

Anyone seen this scenario before?

Just a thought. If it is a gas pressure issue, you could clean the screen filters for the assist gas. There r two. One where the oxygen comes in to the machine and one on the gantry right before the nc regulator.

Sometimes, when they get plugged, the NC regulator has a hard time controlling the pressure.

It could also be the regulator itself.
