The vendor who we are suppling parts to is complaining about a fastener nutplate incompatibillity issue saying that the a286 screw is siezing in the cad plated steel nutplate nas1474A which attaches aly sheet metal together.
The fasteners will be exposed to jet fuel but do not have to be that high of strenght as a286. Where could I find info online that would help me prove this case and help me choose another fastener that would be more capatible?

Thanks

Are you sure that the fastener is seizing due to corrosion? Galling may be causing the fastener to seize during installation. This can be improved by using a lubricant.
