I have made a gearbox to reduce rpm and increase the torque. The gearbox is made of 8 gears: each one has 12 teeth(small side) and 36 teeth(big side), so that has a 1:3 ratio. The first one has just 12 teeth (transfers the motion from the dc motor) the last one has 36 teeth and it receives motion from the 7th gear. Since the Torque of this motor is roughly 70Nm and all the gears are 3D printed I need the last two gears made of metal(steel), because the teeth break so quickly.
Where can I find such gears on the internet? I need two gears 1:3 in metal. Thank You

Since the last two gears are blocked with a screw to a metallic rod I don't have the need to find the compatibility between the plastic gears and the metallic that I will buy. I need to find: a 1:3 ratio, and the 8th gear must have at least 50mm diameter (if not it will collide with the 7th gear), and must have a 10mm hole in the centre and I need to fix the gears to the rod with a screw...

Rie,

If you can't find a suitable gear system from common providers, try looking up local machine shops and asking them for a quote. They should be able to make whatever you want, though it'll be a bit pricier.

Have you considered printing a wider gear?
