I have been out of the work place for a while. I am in need of a new computer for cad software. From different job posting it seems auto desk (mostly auto cad) is the most common. Would I be better off purchasing the new 2010 software? It seem Microstation and PRO E are also good programs to be learn. Is there a particular version? I would appricate any advice?

Thanks

You should probably repost this in forum724 and provide some background on what type of work you are looking to accomplish with a new CAD package.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of these Forums?

You have essentially just asked, 'how long is a piece of string'.

I suggest you take a look at thread724-223361

Most definitely, 42!!!!!!!!!!!!

If 42 is the answer what then does the question become?

"What length of string is optimal?"

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."

No the question becomes what is the tolerance on "42" length.
