I need comprehensive text about controll system

Hi,
I want to study various types of control systems architectures (PLC based, DCS, DCS with field bus, etc.)and searching for some comprehensive text (or e-book)to provide an overview of diffent systems benefits. It will be very appreciated if you send some text, pdf file or adress of such materials.

Recommended for you

I would recommend, Liptak (Process Control), Fundamentals of Industrial Controls, Continuous process control, and understanding distributed process system for control. These are good reference books and are available from ISA.

An excellent, easy to read book that sticks to the practical aspects of control systems is by Raymond Jacquot, "Modern Digital Control Systems." (I am pretty sure that is the exact title, and I'm positive that is the author's name).

Another is B.C. Quo's book, the title of which I think is "Digital Control Systems."
