Hi,

As soon as I add the URL to my note and entire note becomes the URL, no matter where you click on or hover over the note the URL is shown.

I need to have it be part of the note but to just be a note not an active URL how do I do this.

Running Solidworks 2016

Thank you,

Jeff

jeff97070,

Add a space before or after the colon in your URL and it will not be read by SolidWorks as a URL but will still read to a person as a URL.

Thank you and I thought of doing that but some of the Engineers around here will see this and declare it's a mistake and then I will have to explain why and it may go on and on. :)

I was hoping for a way to just shut it off but still show the link.

If you do not include the ( at all in the text then it will not create a hyperlink.

By the way, that is a bad link.
