I can do the the external flow easily enough however whenever i try to analyze the internal flow of a plenum four cylinder I cant get the plenum to "seal" for the solid vrs boundary layers.
I have mated each end of the runners with the closest concentric ends. The ends are the Outer diameter of the runner. I repeated the process for the throttle body plate adding a small amount around the outside diameter and have the plate concentric the hole in the plenum for the throttle body. There are no other holes in the model.
I set the initial conditions on the T/B and the 4 plenum ends. I set on the componet list to those componets being "disabled" Whenever i try to insert boundary conditions it always says that this plate is not between the solid/fluid flow and in the geometry calculator it always reads the fluid volumn as 0.
I was also careful to lay welding beads at all seems, just incase a part wasnt perfectly matched, but everything is completely 0'd in the model.
Am I missing a step somewhere or messing up a process?
