Looking at IBC table 2306.2(2), in finding appropriate unit shears and fastener spacing, I see the table refers to "14 gage staples", is there a section for equivalent nails to designate? Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Maybe I misunderstand your question but the table you reference seems to be answering it for us???

Well, my question is, what if I was to designate 10d nails, or 6d nails? I believe the previous IBC version stated for comparable nails based on panel and/or unit shear. After all, staples are not nails. Sorry, I wasnt clear on my question.

Thanks,

@Hemi79: Could you buy CFRP tendons? if so, please give me your help. I tried to contact some companies but haven't bought it yet.
Thank you.

If you are looking for the nail shear values, they are in the NDS now, not the IBC.
