I want to connect an L-shaped profile to two UPNs (back to back) using the bolt grid operation with three members but I keep getting the following error message: "Bolts are too close to plate edge or outside of the connected plate. - M3" the same error I get for the GRD2 as well (if I erase/inactive GRD1). The thing is that they do not clash (from a geometry point of view), neither I have placed the bolts very closed to any plate's edge for sure. Is there any conflict I miss? I am pretty sure that GRD is the correct operation for what I currently need, so where the mistake might lie? Thank you in advance for your time!

You need to turn that into two separate bolt groups. For GRD1 you have (3) plies selected and each bolt in that group must pass through each of those plies. The error you're getting is because you've chosen both purlins in the same bolt group, so the bolts in M3 are exceeding minimum edge distances with respect to M5 (they're beyond the edge of M5) and vice-versa for the bolts in M5.

To summarize - you should have a total for (4) bolt operations to connect your (4) purlins. One bolt group for the end of each member.
