Dear all,

In the Idea statica program .. in the modeling you can't make all the possible connections for example you can't make pipe connection and to be slotted by two plates not only one. my question if I draw the detail on Tekla is it possible to transfer it to idea by any shape even this detail not accepted in the idea modeling.

The connections you described should be able to be modelled using the software it would take some time, we find you need to select the right plates etc. And yes tekla export will work.

Have you tried to model this connection already in IDEA StatiCa? There is a trial version you can use. Yes the connection you describe can be modelled!

I'm sorry I just saw your replies now..I'll try to search again but I have te latest version I don't think it contain this type

Yes - it should be possible to model your connection both directly in IDEA and also in Tekla (then export to IDEA). Please contact your local support team for more assistance. If that doesn't work post a picture of what you are trying to do here...
